Encounter with God
Encountering God. What does it take to have an encounter with Him? Many things went through my mind as I thought about it. But in the end, it boils down to one thing, desire. Some of you might be thinking, how do I desire for Him more? Here are some points:
1) God is not just God. He is a Living God.
So many christians treat God as some kind of idea, image or blurry picture. These are all wrong thinkings. God is real, living and still performing wonders in our mist. You must treat him as a person. This is how you can have a close relationship with Him.
2) Panting
Like what David said in Ps 42:1, "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, my God." How thristy are you today? Are you just satisfied to be in His presence or do you seek to see His face? There is a very big difference between the two. As you go for cellgroup meetings, service and even quiet time, is your spirit seeking after God like a madman? Don't be like the Israelists in Moses' time, whereby they were afraid of God's presence. Instead be like Moses, one who seeks after the face of God (Ex 33:18). As you seek His presence, do not enter just the outer courts or inner courts. Enter into the Holiest of Holy, touching the throne of God.
In closing, just want to share you all something that I posted last year.

God, give me a heart like Peter.................................a heart full of boldness for You

God, give me a heart like John the Baptist................a heart consecrated to Your call

God, give me a heart like Moses................................a heart after the face of Yours
God, give me a heart like John....................................a heart of prophecy
God, give me a heart like Ruth....................................a heart of loyalty
God, give me a heart like Abel....................................a heart of offering
God, give me a heart like Enoch.................................a heart that hungers for You
God, give me a heart like Sarah..................................a heart that believes upon miracles
God, give me a heart like Samson..............................a heart of prayer
God, give me a heart like Solomon.............................a heart full of wisdom to rule people
God, give me a heart like Barnabas............................a heart of servanthood
God, give me a heart like Dr. Phil Pringle......................a heart of the supernatural
God, give me a heart like Dr. A.R. Bernard.................a heart of teaching
God, give me a heart like Dr. Yonggi Cho...................a heart of prayerful lifestyle
God, give me a heart like Dr. Ulf Ekman......................a heart of visions
God, give me a heart like Dr. Kong Hee......................a heart dedicated to Your cause

Jurong West Building! W362!
For some who don't know, I have been moved to Jurong West service already. So on Saturday, it was kind of like my 1st service there in a long long while. Simply because I have been based over at Expo for a few years already.
The Jurong West building is really a miracle building. When I was over at Expo, it really took raw faith to get a revelation. But when I was at Jurong West, revelations just came on flowing into my mind and touching my heart. From the moment we started praise till we ended the service with an altar call, the presence of God was so strong. And revelations became free-flowing, challenging the lives of the members. Truly Jurong West, is our miracle building.
Oh yes!! Must talk about my new cg, W362! They're kinda cool, with a very different group dynamics to them. Really want to know you guys more. Miracles are waiting to break forth into W362! Get ready...

VIP
On Thursday, we managed to get all the VIP-ians to group together!! Finally after so long, all could make it except for Joanna, because she was still in Thailand being a Thai girl. =(
For those who don't know what VIP is about, it's a moblog group consisting of Very Important Piglets. Haha..actually VIP means nothing lah..just a name lol. It was started by Jasper and the aim of it was to provided support and comfort to one another.
So we gathered for a nice meal at Ichiban Boshi and we slowly went to the Esplanade....to eat again! This time at Maka Sutra. After that we slowly walked to Raffles Place to chit chat. When we came to a bridge called Benjamin Sheares Bridge, we decided to hang around there for awhile because the view was awesome! Didn't know this place rocks during the night.
Looking back, I realized something. Once we were all new friends and then members. Now, we are all rising up, being leaders for Christ.
Really miss having everyone around. Hope to have it again soon. =)

Founder's Day
Well well...2 posts in such a quick succession, must be a miracle at work. Anyway after the meeting with my friend, I went to meet another group of friends!! They are from my secondary school!! Woohoo! And it just so happened that on 1 March, it's our Founder's Day. At first I thought that it will only be a small group, but in the end, about 20+ people turned.
I lost contact with many of them simply because most of them went overseas to further their studies. So it was really really great to meet up with once again. After that we decided to play lan and played till like 4am next day..lol. We came to a conclusion after the whole event, we are getting onto our age as we felt so tired after the lan. Then I woke up at 6am for service wahaha....

9 Years...
On Saturday, I finally met up with a friend I lost touch for like about 9 years? Lol....I know you might be looking at this entry now so hopefully u will enjoy it since you asked for this to be blogged. haha =X
Anyway I was working that day and met up with her after work. So we decided to meet up at Wheelock place, the building opposite Lido. Then we proceeded on to the area where Forum is at. Actually I seldom go down to that part of orchard road so it was kind of like a new experience for me. The whole concept of the place was nice because shop are connected in a very open air manner.
After thinking between Coffee Bean and Starbucks, we chose to go to the latter one (Starbucks is the best!!). So we spent quite some time there chit-chatting and catching up on old times haha. Didn't imagine that within 9 years, so many things can happen and change. It was really interesting to find out how people are doing over long periods of time.
Surrondings can change with time. But a bond or a friendship cannot be changed so easily with time.
