Random of The Day
Welcome back to Random of The Day. Everyone of us know what Sesame Street is all about. We always talk about Elmo, Emo, Elmo, Emo, Elmo and even more Emo. But how many of us really know the character called Big Bird?
Some people call him Big. Some people call him Bird. Some even call him a yellow feather duster. But actually, he is called.....Big Bird. Yes, he might smell bad and at times he speaks funny, but he can be a fantastic meal for all those chicken lovers (whatever he is). Colonel Sanders can testify to that.
Big Bird is a full-body Muppet, featured on the children's television show Sesame Street, which airs on PBS. He is sometimes referred to as "Bird" by his friends.
Officially performed by Carroll Spinney since 1969, he is an eight-foot two-inch tall bright yellow bird. He can roller skate, ice skate, dance, sing, write poetry, draw and even ride a unicycle. But despite this wide array of talents, he is prone to frequent misunderstandings, on one occasion even singing the alphabet as one big long word, pondering what it could ever mean. He lives in a large nest behind the 123 Sesame Street brownstone.
Big Bird has been such a hit since the early days that one person I know personally, was deeply impacted by the Big Bird story. Not just any story, but the Big Bird Story. It was so impactful till the point whereby he started to be fantsinated about it, just like a little boy in front of the television. Such faithfulness and longing to see his idol has won him a place in the Hall of Random of The Day. It is my biggest honor to present to you, the greatest Big Bird fan in the whole universe. Edmund Saw!

Sleep tight tonight, Edmund. =)

Happy Birthday Huiwen!
Happy Birthday to our dear Ms Shy, Charis Low Huiwen!! Haha. After this dinner, the word "Shy" has a whole new meaning. And all the men go: 1, 2, 3, YES!!
Anyway we had a great time together with a dinner at glasshouse Fish & Co and over there, we had a great surprise for her! We got the staff to do the birthday rap and made her stand on the chair. Hohoho, isn't that nice?
After that we proceeded on to Istana Park and that was when Ms Shy became Ms Catwoman or rather, Ms Siao. The whole event was hilarious and outrageous as well. After some discussions, I will only be posting some pictures here while the videos will be put on hold first. But I'm telling you, the videos will shock your entire life. For more pictures, please go to my facebook profile and look under photos.
Once again, Happy Birthday Huiwen! Have a great year ahead of you! =)

Dinner with Lucy and Wendy!
Just came back after meeting someone whom I have not met in a long while. She is Lucy! Together with Wendy, we went to Manhatten Fish Market over at Clark Quay and then started walking from Clark Quay to City Hall to Raffles Place. Oh well, I guess I should just let the pictures do the talking.

Random of The Day
I have been thinking to myself, what is my favourite food. Pasta? Sushi? Sirloin steak? The answer is....none of the above!! In the end, my favourite food is:

Yeah you got me right. A plate of rice with just luncheon meat and sunshine egg. Prefect. I can eat this almost everyday. Does this look familiar to you? Of course it does! It's something similar found in Hongkong cafes, either in Singapore or Hongkong itself.
Surprised? Hope to see you soon in the next edition of "Random of The Day".

Welcome 2009!
To usher in 2009, I have decided to change my blogskin! A new year, a new blog skin. Indeed 2008 has been eventful, but I believe 2009 will be a year full of breakthroughs and rewards.
Many of you might been thinking how come it has been a long time since I updated my blog. While the answer is: I have been busy with my own things. Haha. There were so many many events going on at the end of the year that I lost track of time.
Here are somethings I want to thank God for in 2008.
1) The courage to attend School of Theology.
2) The privillege to experience the financial blessings of God over my life, especially during SOT and mission trips.
3) Getting to know the wonderful W362 and W469 starting from Yuzhen, all the way to Xiong Ge, all the way to Simon. You guys know who you are, don't have to name everyone here. Haha.
4) Placing people in my life to encourage me whenever I feel down. =)
5) A new computer that is at flying speed even till now.
And so on and so fore!! I could go on and on and on but I will sound like how Benjamin always call me, "Ah Pek".
I'm getting so excited over the prospect of enjoying 2009!! And I have set some goals to achieve this year but till I am more sure about the goals, I shall keep them away from you all for the time being.
Indeed, God is good all the time. All the time, God is good. For those who have not set their goals. Here is a goal for you:
