WooHOoo!! Weekend has arrived!!
Finally the weekend has arrived! Today did another role-play for army camp again. This time as an intruder with parangs. The good part was I did this with another friend of mine. So two of us carried parangs with us and run like mad people towards the prowlers. It's kinda fun but really very tiring because need to run to and fro about 15 times and then must play "dead" After that kanna tossed around for them to conduct body search....haiz. Haha
After all these, went around some places to do some things and went home. Then decided to go out with my mum to orchard since she was like so bored at home. Reached orchard and went to Zara for awhile. Even though there was sales and I found some nice shirts, I didn't buy because the place was packed with people. From the entrance to the dressing room, to the counter, it was filled with people! It was as if there was a concert inside.
After the concert, we then "holland" a few times because alot of places got no seats to sit down and eat. Finally managed to settle down at Food Republic and went to prawn noodles for her. The queue was like so long! But it was worth it as she was quite happy as she ate it, saying that it is the best prawn noodles she has ever eaten. =) And Elijah, I won't queue and buy for you haha.
With a full stomach, we proceeded to CK Tangs. Everywhere I look, nothing suits me! Felt like I'm in the wrong generation timezone when I reached there. For the first time, I didn't buy anything when I'm out with her! Instead she bought a few pieces, finally haha.
I'm posting so late because I just reached home from late night shopping thingy. So thank you for reading my bumbling because my thoughts are so jumbled up now and very tired. Haha....hopefully the above things make sense to you.

This song has a very special place in my heart. Very often in our life, we think that no one knows what we are going through, whether good or bad. Yet our life, like the song says, is a open book to God. Events in our life that brings joy, pain or even secret sins, God knows them all.
It's amazing how Christ did not come as Christ the destroyer, Christ the reaper or Christ the judge. Yet He came as Emmanuel, God is with us. So many times we carry the cross and struggle to keep it on our shoulders. Eventually we drop it along the way and fall on the floor. We can fail in our life, fall into temptation. Doing the wrong things over and over again or hurting people around us. But God is our Abba. Abba means Father in a very personal intimacy.
No matter how many times our hearts fail, our bodies go weary, our throughts go astray, God is always with us. Always ready to forgive us, if we are willing to repent. Because "God is love" (1 Jn 4:16) and "Love never fails" (2 Cor 13:8).

10 Things Weirdos Will Do
Got tagged thanks to Pranee ~>_<~ Here are the rules!
The rule of this game goes : Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/ habits/ little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write in their blog 10 weird things/ habits/ little known facts about themselves. At the end of it, you can choose 5 people to tag. Most importantly u got to state this rule of the game in the blog.
1. Sometimes, my dog's dinner is better than my dinner. Was almost tempted once to eat his dinner.
2. My dog shares the same bed as me. Free softtoy that moves!
3. I get upset when my dog ignores me. He gets upset when I ignore him. You reap what you sow. Oh well....
4. I once cried so badly at home for my mum that she got to stop her work and come home. This happened when I was in kindergarden though. =)
5. I cried very badly on one occassion because my dad threw my favourite dog softtoy. In primary school haha.
6. I love to bake cookies and cakes. Stopped doing that because my oven broke down. Come to think of it, I miss Cookie Monster.
7. My room is personally designed by myself from scratch. From the cupboard to the table to the shelves. The carpeter did a great job! =X
8. I joined soccer in secondary 1 but failed to make it into school team. Trained for a year and later on impressed the coach and went into school team for 2 years. I quit during my secondary 4 because of O's. Won nothing though haha. What a blunder!
9. I love to eat chocolate ice-cream and chocolate when I'm sad.
10. Normally I eat a bowl of wanton noodles continously at home without breaking the noodles?

Movie!
Haha just came back from watching Fantastic 4. Finally got to catch a movie after so long since I'm in camp like 5 days in a week. Really like the feeling of freedom and can't wait till ORD. Just 4 more months! Anyway the movie is not bad so don't really believe the critics over at the newspaper.
Got to go now! Need to settle some stuff over ebay. Cya!

Eventful Day
Today has been quite a day. Firstly, today I got to role play for awhile in camp for a parade and then later on took some time to read up on Times, which is really rare. The best thing was I even managed to go to Sentosa because I got some work to settle and spent some time chit-chatting there haha. So fun...go Sentosa during office hours. After that spent some time at Vivocity before coming home. So far so good...let's hope it gets even better this week!

Thoughts after Emerge
Hey everyone! Really excited after having such a wonderful conference and I believe that things will happen in the spiritual realm whereby we will bring Christ into culture.
As I am writing this, I'm still kinda of having fever and really thank those who prayed for me and also those who showed their care and concerns. I almost did not want to come for Emerge session 6 but still I decided to go. Many people asked me why did I come and why don't I just go home and rest. Well, it ties in with what was preached recently in the Sermon on the Mount and also the theme of Emerge so tightened your seat belt!
1. Brokenness
In simple terms, it just means dependence on God. To be honest, I really didn't feel like coming at all. I felt so sick that I lost almost all my strength and collaspe in the lift. But as I remind myself about the Word of God, I felt so encouraged.
I do not know what your bible says. But my bible says my God is Jehovah Tisdkenu, God is my Righteousness. Jenovah M'kaddesh, God is my Sanctification. Jehovah Shalom, God is my Peace. Jehovah Shammah. God is Present with me. Jehovah Jireh. God is my Provider. Jehovah Nissi, God is my Banner. Jehovah Rohi, God is my Shepherd. Jehovah Rophe. God is my Healer!
As you depend on God more, the more the Word of God will become true in your life!
2. Willingness
Willingness can be defined as, cheerfully consenting or ready. Willingness is an attitude, not a personality trait. People make decisions on weather if they choose to be willing. To me, willingness is sacrifice. Yes, I was really sick but God, here I am to offer you a sacrifice of praise.
This is what David wrote, "Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord."
Conclusion
As I decide to come for the service, indirectly I'm telling God that, "Lord all that I have is Your's. Nothing else in this world is more important than You. My body, my time, I sacrifice all these on Your altar. A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else!"
As a result, even before I enter into the hall, I can feel the presence of God so strongly and this isn't just a one time off thing. The presence is so strong that I can be so touched and weep even during praise. This has happened to me many a times. My conviction is, unless you have to drag me to service, I will be there.
Allow me to challenge you today, that you will not allow anything to stop you from doing your quiet time, reading the bible, going for cell group meetings and services. Because one touch from heaven, and your life will never be the same again.

Woohoo!
Wee! I finally managed to solve the linking problem at the end of my blog! So happy haha! No more promoting Wendy's blog already!
As I am writing this, I know most of you are enjoying youselves over at Emerge and together with you, I believe this service will be a blast! I have to be contented with Hillsongs United videos over the internet and still, the presence of God is so strong as I'm typing this. All right. This is just for...Elijah! Haha anyway Day 2 has just ended and I can't wait for the remaining 2 days to come! I believe after this conference, we are going to walk out of the place never to be the same again.
