The God I Know

This song is awesome. I like the part where it says the God I know. Indeed God is glorious and holy. Indeed He is faithful and true. He is a tower of refuge.
But the question is, do you experience it youself? Do you know He is glorious and holy? Do you know He is faithful and true? Do you know He is a tower of refuge? Maybe it's time for you to find out youself. =)

Half-fried Brain, I mean Half-working Brain
It's like 1:10am in the morning and I just reached home wahaha...my brain is half asleep and yet I'm still choosing to watch Gintama. Hmm...could hardly even think well. Abba Father never let me go
This song has a very special place in my heart. Very often in our life, we think that no one knows what we are going through, whether good or bad. Yet our life, like the song says, is a open book to God. Events in our life that brings joy, pain or even secret sins, God knows them all.
It's amazing how Christ did not come as Christ the destroyer, Christ the reaper or Christ the judge. Yet He came as Emmanuel, God is with us. So many times we carry the cross and struggle to keep it on our shoulders. Eventually we drop it along the way and fall on the floor. We can fail in our life, fall into temptation. Doing the wrong things over and over again or hurting people around us. But God is our Abba. Abba means Father in a very personal intimacy.
No matter how many times our hearts fail, our bodies go weary, our throughts go astray, God is always with us. Always ready to forgive us, if we are willing to repent. Because "God is love" (1 Jn 4:16) and "Love never fails" (2 Cor 13:8).
