Which One Will You Prefer?
Pastor Ming asked the SOT students an interesting question few weeks back. When you go on a holiday, do you prefer having a map with you and depend on the map or will you prefer a guide next to you.
I thought over it for awhile and I chose map. Why?
Simply because I like the excitement of using the map. Maps can be very outdated and undependable. But the interesting thing is sometimes it can lead you to places you least expect to go to. It gives me more thrill to wander around and bump into something interesting and be amazed by it. Maybe it's just me but I prefer surprises during holidays. Started to think about other things as well but.....hmmmm haha...let's move on.....
What's your choice?

Talking
I just got to blog about this. I was worshipping God and began singing and praying at the same time. And then this thought came into my mind. "God, let's talk. It has been a long while since we talked." And this is really true. After saying this, I realized that I haven't been talking to God alot recently, even though I'm in bible school. Yes I have been praying, yes I have been soaking in His presence daily. And yet I missed out on the greatest thing next to salvation, talking to God.
Immediately I felt God's glory in the place. It was so strong and so heavy. The true and raw glory of God was so evidence, that at one point in time, I fear for my life. But then I just said, "God, let me seek Your face." And then I kneeled down at my bedside and prayed, "God, here I am kneeling down and talking to You. Just like 4 years ago." I started to thank God for His grace, salvation and provision. Later on, I went to ask God a question, something that kind of like bothered me.
Normally when I talk to God, I will feel heat in my belly or peace of God if it's right. If not, I will feel very uneasy. This time, it was so so so different. Once I finished my sentence, I did feel heat, but I ended up having holy laughter in my own room! Cool right? The presence of God was so strong, until it gave me full assurance and the answer to my question.
Indeed, how awesome is the gateway to heaven! Not babbling words, but talking to God.

Mothers' Day
Haven't been blogging so now abit rusty. Don't know how to start off...haha.
All right!! Let's start by talking after the Mothers' Day Celebration!! Happy Belated Mothers' Day to you all out there! The service was awesome! Had to constantly call the dam repairers to come over because it almost broke forth so many times. Very very touching.
Then a very weird thought came into my mind, when will I start my own family. LOL!!!! Must be the season of family. Conincidentally, Pastor Ming asked us to list down 3 things we are thankful to God during SOT. Surprising I put down family. Dont' get me here, over here the family refers to my immediate family, nothing else. Hmm.....how huh? Haha.....

Missed!
Today I planned to wake up at 5am, hoping to surprise my cgl, as she's flying off to China for a week. In the end, I woke up at 6am!! Arghh!! Worse thing still, the group of us missed her!! She went into the departure hall already. =( But anyway, later on Vernon, Kim, Wei Ren and I fellowshipped at Changi Kopitiam! Nice name right? haha. It was really a great time of sharing and inspiration. =) Next time must do a better job at surprising people. ^_^

Touch from God
Thank you everyone for your support! I know I have been busy and you guys constantly visit my blog and chat. Really appreciate it. =)
Many things go through my mind during Saturday Service over at Jurong West. Just want to share it with you guys. Hope that it will bless you.
We had communion this week and I could feel the strong presence of God as we partake in it. As some of you know, I'm going through a period of stretching and expanding. There are times whereby I have no time for myself and have to do things out of my comfort zone as I take up more responsibilities. Once I finished the communion, I could feel a hug from the Holy Spirit and He said, "I know what you're going through. I know you can do it." Immediately tears starting to flow down, but it got to reverse back due to the people around.
God, I know I can do it, with You by my side.
The next thing that really impacted me was during the ministering for the leaders. I don't know if I could go up and I just stood at where I was sitting and said, "God, whatever anointing you are giving to the them, I want it as well." And almost immediately, ideas, visions and goals for my new cell group started to flow into my mind. Fresh ideas and power was so strong, that I broke down at the place I was standing.
So those in W469 better buckle your seat belt fast, and run the race of faith, together!
The last thing will be the Mothers' Day trailer. Yes, I was thinking about my mother and all. But I was also thinking about my life hoho. When will I really settle down and start a family. After trailer, inspired to have a family of my own.
God, the promise You gave me 4 years ago, I'm still holding on, clinging onto Your word.
Anyway I was looking through few people's blog (Wendy, Wah Ju, Huimei and many others, can't remember who's liao) and saw the quiz on the five love languages. So I went to take and see what's the result since my whole being has really been changed from SOT. Surprisingly, the results differed since the last time I took it. So here's my latest result:........
