Just Some Thoughts
On Sunday, 20/07/08 , was Chai Ying's baptism!! Yeah!! So happy for her, because this means a new birth for her. A new beginning, a new breakthrough. Afterwards, went to Ikea for fellowship together with her and Wendy. It was very nice of them to go to Ikea because I was not feeling very well, so they gave in to my request...muawahaha =X
The place really changed alot and actually it was really in a mess. It's like Ikea is not like Ikea!! As we head for the resturant, the mess was simply unbearable, yet there were still alot of people shopping....geesh.... Anyway we managed to find our path and settled down at a circular table with inside as a playground. Very hard to explain but hopefully you all understand it one way or the another.
As we were eating, I saw alot of children playing in there and one particular kid caught my attention. I think he's from South Africa, at least that's what I feel...haha. As he was playing, other children started to verbally abuse and the sight was terrible. Even the mother of the abuser got involved. Simply simply simply disgusting. So what if he's different from the rest? Does that mean that he should be deprived of things which others can enjoy? It was really a sad sight to watch.
Somehow I feel that along my ministry, I will be in close contact with children who belong to the majority race in that particular society. To be specific, people who are of darker skin color and aging to the age of 6. There is just something in me that want to know them even more. Hmm....who knows what will happen in the future...haha...I might be right, I might be wrong...
